First, he offers a review of some of the newer insights coming from the secular clinical psychology literature on the topic, followed by a biblical understanding of the salience of the here-and-now, then a brief summary of classic Christian spiritual writings on the topic. To conclude, he walks listeners through a short exercise for practicing God's presence for psychological and spiritual health.
